Chargt ('we', 'us', 'our') wants you to understand exactly what data we handle, why, and how long we keep it. This page explains our privacy policy. Our full terms and conditions are on the Terms & Conditions page.
Legal bases: consent (location), legitimate interest (analytics, contact form, data quality reports, MCP audit logs). We only process data the service needs, for these purposes:
Our MCP tools let AI assistants look up Dutch charge point prices. When you ask an assistant to find or inspect a charge point, the tool may process:
In return the tool shares operator prices per kWh (plus any time, idle or start fees), availability, connector types and the operator's name. Coverage is the Netherlands only. This exchange happens live. We don't store it, and we don't log it per request.
The MCP server writes a minimal, anonymous audit record for each tool call, containing only: a request identifier, a timestamp, which tool was used, the access tier, and the outcome. This record never contains your location, a charge point ID, or any personal data. Audit logs are automatically deleted after 90 days.
We use anonymous visitor analytics (no cookies, no personal data profiles, IP addresses not stored). Analytics data is processed within the European Union.
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption, rate limiting on forms, and hashing of IP addresses in data quality reports.
You have the right to access, correct, delete, and restrict the processing of your data, to object to processing, and to data portability where applicable. Send a message via the contact form to exercise any of these rights.
If you believe we are not processing your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
When you interact with charging data through an AI assistant, the exchange is processed according to that assistant's retention policy, which may not offer zero-data-retention.
