Chargt ('we', 'us', 'our') is committed to creating clarity about the prices you pay at public charge points. On this page we briefly explain what we do, our terms and conditions, and our privacy policy. By using Chargt you agree to these.

Terms

About Chargt

Chargt shows you what charge point operators in the Netherlands charge for supplying electricity at a public charge point. The price you see is the operator's base price, without any surcharges a charge card provider may add on top. Chargt is based in Almere, the Netherlands and registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 42050561. For questions you can contact us via our contact form.

Source and intellectual property

Charge point data is sourced from the Dutch National Road Traffic Data Portal (NDW) and is licensed under Creative Commons Zero (CC0 1.0 Universal). NDW has released the data under an open license: reuse, modification, and display are permitted for any purpose. Map tiles are provided by OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors) under the ODbL license. Operator brand names and trademarks are property of their respective owners.

Data quality

The information on Chargt is for informational purposes only and does not constitute a definitive price quote. The prices and locations shown are sourced from public data and are not verified by Chargt for accuracy or completeness. Chargt is not liable for errors, omissions or outdated information in this third-party data.

Charge point availability

Showing a charge point on Chargt does not mean the charge point is actually accessible or reachable, or that charging by passers-by is desired.

Acceptable use

The website is accessible for personal and commercial use, automated data collection (scraping) and bulk requests aren't allowed.

Limitation of liability

Chargt isn't liable for direct or indirect damages arising from the use of this website, except in cases of intent or wilful misconduct on our part.

Changes to these terms

Our terms and conditions, and the use of this website, are governed by Dutch law, we may change these terms at any time. The latest version applies from the date at the bottom of this page.

Privacy

Our privacy policy

We collect and display charge point data to help you compare public charging prices and understand what you're paying for. To provide this service, Chargt only processes data that is needed for the service, namely contact form messages (name, email address and your message), anonymous visitor statistics without cookies, data quality reports (charge point ID and error type) and your location after you give consent (temporary on your device). Data isn't kept longer than needed, contact messages are deleted after 30 days and quality reports after 2 years. You have the right to access, correct and delete your data where applicable.
